THE STYLISTICS CONCERT REVIEW (Givens Performing Arts Center/University of North Carolina, Pembroke - 10/2/09)

EBAN: The smooth, jazzy performer
AIRRION: The charismatic romancer with the beautiful smile
HERB: The elegant gentleman with the right moves
VAN: The sweet falsetto with the great hip action

You guys are truly a class act. From the moment you hit the stage you captivated the audience with your look, sound and moves. Your performance at the Givens Center for Performing Arts at the University of North Carolina in Pembroke was just such an occasion.

You all looked absolutely delicious in your beige suits with slightly darker stripes, mock white turtle neck shirts and white shoes. Eban, I love your new do (cornrows) and your moon walk.

Whether it is your dance moves, the sound of you collectively and individually, it all boils down to a perfect package. Seeing the STYLISTICS perform is a ?mind blowing? experience that you want to go on and on. This performance ended with "Thank you Baby" ? One of my all time favorites as well as other fan club members.

Thank you for being the STYLISTICS.

This was the last U.S. concert for 2009 and we wish The Stylistics Bon Voyage & Travel Mercies as they tour the U.K. and Japan.

MINNIE'S ROSES FOR THE STYLISTICS

Props go out to Fan Club Member Minnie who graciously went out and purchased 4 long-stemmed red roses to present to Airrion, Herb, Eban and Van at the concert in Pembroke, NC last Friday on behalf of herself & the Fan Club.

Why Did She Do It? As she explained to me, she knew The Stylistics would be traveling to the U.K. soon and she wanted to wish them Bon Voyage & Travel Mercies. What a thoughtful thing to do.

I saw the smiles on the guys? faces when each one was given a rose. Oh, and your comrade (Deborah) reported that you received a special kiss on the cheek from Eban!!!! We are sure that all of The Stylistics appreciated your act of loving kindness.

I would personally like to take a minute to say "thank you" to all of the Fan Club members who faithfully come out and support The Stylistics at their concerts. How befitting that The Stylistics close out their show with singing "Thank You Baby" to the fans.
